Charles Darwin University (CDU) Library Search is one of your first points of contact for discovering the wealth of online and offline resources held by the CDU Library.
CDU Library Search provides a broad range of books, ebooks, journal artiles, newsaper articles, theses, videos and much more. Results can be filtered and search terms combined.
But what some people don't know is that CDU Library Search has a feature that allows you to use Citation Tracking to discover relevant resources cited by, or citing, the key articles.
First, conduct your search as normal. Or, if you have in mind a specific article already, enter the reference information into Library Search.
Once you've conducted a search, you can see that some resources have two red arrow symbols to the right of the title.
These symbols stand for:
1. Is an example of Forwards snowballing citation tracking
2. Is an example of Backwards snowballing citation tracking
Look through the subpages to see how each feature can help with your research and resource discovery.
