Please note: CitationGecko is no longer being developed.

Citation Gecko is a citation tracking tool that uses key or seed papers to help you find relevant papers for your research.

Using a small sample of seed papers that narrow your research topic, Citation Gecko can mine seed paper reference lists to show you commonly cited and connected papers.

This tool can help you quickly identify important papers you may have missed, suggest new papers, and give you a more complete understanding of the research topic environment.

You will be given four options for adding seed papers, these papers form the foundation of your search. If they are too broad, or there are no connections between them, new seed papers will need to be added.

We will look at adding papers by searching. Select 'Search for papers' to begin entering the reference information including title, author and date.
