Another useful feature of ResearchRabbit citation tracking is the 'Explore People' tool that allows the user to view authors and connections based on selected relevant papers.
There are two options for 'Explore People': These Authors and Suggested Authors.
To begin select the paper(s) you want to explore, and choose These Authors which will open a column with a list of the authors featured in the chosen paper(s).
Each of the authors is shown with their affiliation and statistics about their publishing history, and can be selected to view more information.
Author statistics cover the number of publications, and the number of citations, and can help users determine the influence and popularity of a chosen author.
Once selected, users can decide to explore people again by looking at the published works of the chosen author, or by viewing the people the chosen author has collaborated with.
This image shows citation tracking activity if the user had selected Suggested Authors at the beginning.
Selecting Suggested Authors shows the same statistics as These Authors including publications and citations but in relation to authors with similar papers, citations and areas of expertise to the original article.
