CDU APA Referencing: Reference List Rules

A guide to help you better understand CDU APA 7th Referencing

Your reference list should follow these essential format guidelines:

  1. Start your reference list on a new page.
  2. Heading 'References' in bold and centred.
  3. Reference entries left aligned (do not justify edges).
  4. Hanging indent applied to reference entries. See the FAQ: How do I create a hanging indent?
  5. 2.0 line spacing. No extra spaces between paragraphs.
  6. List is in alphabetical order.
