The American Psychological Association's APA website has comprehensive styles guidelines by topic and an informative blog: https://apastyle.apa.org/

You can also consult the print edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association available via Library Search.

Reference management software helps you to:

  • collect and store references
  • organise and make notes
  • insert citations while you write

Using reference management software is not a way to avoid learning your referencing system. You still need to understand how to format in-text citations and references so you can double-check the work of the software.

Endnote is the main reference management software used and supported at CDU. As a CDU affiliate you can get Endnote21 institutional subscription for free. But CDU Library has resources and workshops for:

  • Endnote
  • Mendeley
  • Zotero
