Promoting Your Research : Writing for different audiences

Your Audience Matters

In order to promote and share your research, you need to be able to cater to different audiences.

For instance, if you were asked to explain your research in a news article/program, you would not use academic language and industry jargon as the general public does not understand the nuances of your research.

In conference presentations, you would employ more visual imagery and so on and so forth.

Writing for Different Audiences
