System Access and Log-in Issues:
The University expects all research active researchers to register for and manage their ORCiD record.
If you already have an ORCID make sure you register it in RIS (Pure), otherwise you can create an ID directly in RIS (Pure).
Creating a link to an ORCID profile via RIS (Pure) follows the same process whether you already have an ORCID or not.
» It is not possible to only synchronise selected content. The synchronisation from RIS (Pure) to ORCID is "all or nothing".
» The sync only works for publications. Projects, activities, etc., are not synchronised.
» If you delete publications in RIS (Pure), the deleted publications are removed from ORCiD with the next synch cycle.
You control and authorise the synchronization from RIS (Pure)to ORCID from your ORCID profile.
If you want to stop the synchronization from RIS (Pure):
» Go to your ORCID profile under “Account settings” and delete Charles Darwin University under “Trusted organizations”. It is only possible to stop synch from ORCID. You cannot do so from RIS (Pure).
» Deleting your ORCID iD from your RIS (Pure) profile is not enough. This only removes your ORCID iD from your profile on CDU portal.
