If you are stuck and don't know how to start, where to continue, etc. with your research and referencing, don't feel you are the only one, as others have been in the same place and have probably asked the same questions. Here is a list of some frequently asked questions.

Is a journal peer reviewed or not?

I have found some journal articles on Google Scholar, but am not sure if they are peer reviewed. How can I find out if they are peer reviewed?

  • Go to the CDU Library website
  • Select Databases (in More Search Options)
  • Select “U”
  • Open “Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory”
  • Type the title of the journal in the Title search box

  • If the journal has an icon like a referee's shirt next to it

.....that means it is refereed / peer reviewed, the journal contains peer reviewed articles.
