Southeast Asia Guide: Art

The Asian Art Museum–Chong-Moon Lee Center for Asian Art and Culture is one of San Francisco's premier arts institutions and home to a world-renowned collection of more than 18,000 Asian Art treasures spanning 6000 years of history.

Through an exploration of diverse works of art in the Museum's collection from the South Asian subcontinent and the Himalayan region as well as from the many lands of Southeast Asia, this resource provides an ideal introduction to the history and culture of this vast region.

The collection of Asian art includes diverse materials from China, Japan, Korea, Southeast and Central Asia, and India dating from Neolithic to present times.
