This page contains information for students undertaking their thesis paper as either an undergraduate degree or postgraduate masters student. In part A of your thesis unit, you will be required to complete a research workshop. The resources on this guide relate to that workshop and contain a list of resources to help you start your research.

Knowing that there are many different types of resources are important, this is because different resources may have different quality of information and because you will need to be able to identify a source type to cite it correctly.
In this activity you will need to identify four mystery items. Click on the link below to access each item then mark in your workbooket what resource type you think the item is.
Not all information has been created equal. As midwifery students you will be the judge of what is good information. Remember that information comes in different sources including peer reviewed research, consumer information, case studies and opinion pieces.
