Global Organisations

The IECA (International Erosion Control Association) is a non-profit, international, member organisation that provides education, resource information and business opportunities for professionals in the erosion and sediment control industry.

WWF World Wildlife Fund is one of the world's largest conservation organizations.

Greenpeace is an independent campaigning organization that uses peaceful protest and creative communication to expose global environmental problems and find green solutions.

National Geographic, well known for its magazine and televison specials, focuses on exploration and conservation of forests, oceans, habitats, species and societies.

Friends of the Earth is a grassroots environmental network, uniting 75 national member groups and about 5,000 local activist groups on every continent. It campaigns on today’s most urgent environmental and social issues.

United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is a leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment.

Non-government Organisations

Environment Centre NT is the peak community sector environment organisation in the Northern Territory, Australia. The Environment Centre NT has been working to protect the environment since 1983.

Environmental Defenders Office (NT)  (EDONT) is a not-for-profit community legal centre specialising in public interest environmental law.

The Australian Student Environment Network, or ASEN, is the network of student environment collectives from around Australia committed to building grassroots movements for change.

The Environment Institute (EIANZ) is a not-for-profit, professional association for environmental practitioners from Australia and New Zealand.

The Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) advocates for ecological sustainability. It addresses environmental problems by tackling the underlying social and economic causes.

Greening Australia is an organisation dedicated to restoring and conserving Australia's unique landscapes.

Marine Education Society of Australasia is a national organisation that brings together people interested in the study and enjoyment of coastal and marine environments.
