EndNote Guide: EndNote Styles and Connections

CDU Reference Styles

  • are downloadable files that control the appearance of citations and references
  • can be created and modified using EndNote's style editor
  • the name can refer to the discipline or journal that defined the format

View preinstalled output styles before searching for and downloading additional ones.

There are output styles created for referencing at CDU. Download and find instructions on how to add these to EndNote below. 

Connection Files

This connection file will allow you to search the CDU Library collection (print and eBooks) within EndNote and add these records to your Library. It is important to save the file into the EndNote-Connections folder on your computer. Follow the instructions 'How to Add CDU Reference Styles' above. 

AGLC Styles

Download the file below to access the AGLC style; after downloading:

  1. Open the file with EndNote 
  2. Save the File
  3. Change and update your output style.
