Theses Guide: Finding CDU Theses

Why Theses

At the start of their research project, research students will find it useful to look at completed theses. Amongst other things, it will help them discover:

  • what has already been written on their research topic
  • refine a research topic
  • identify gaps
  • and see how theses are laid out and also what research methodologies are used.

Special Collection

Some CDU theses may only be available from the Theses Collection, which is a closed collection housed within the Library's Special Collection.

If you wish to view a thesis from this Collection, please submit a request by completing the online form.  You will need to allow 24 hours for retrieval during weekdays and a little longer at weekends. When ready, the thesis can be picked up from the Service Desk.
